Actor Arvind Swamy who was seen in headlines early this month in seeking divorce with his wife, finally ended up in obtaining divorcee. Both Arvind Swamy and his wife Gayathri Ramamurthy applied for divorcee on December 1st, 2010 on a mutual consent. The petition came for hearing yesterday and Principal Family Court Judge S Meenakshi Sundaram approved the divorce and made official that the marriage got dissolved.
Arvind Swamy has made one time settlement by paying Rs 75 lakhs to his wife apart from giving monthly expenses of Rs 1 lakh towards maintenance, which will be affected from the date of dissolution. On a mutual consent both of them agreed to terms and condition regarding the maintenance and the guardianship of their children.
