People can witness the rise of a new dhoti brand apart from the familiar ones such as MCR, Ramraj and Kitex. MCR features Mohanlal and Sarathkumar whereas Ramraj features Jayaram for ads. Dhoti brands are telecasting more ads now targeting the Onam market. Onam is the time when people of Kerala wear traditional dress and shop more textiles, home appliances etc.
