Michael C. Hall has filed for divorce from his wife Jennifer Carpenter. The couple has been married for just two years now. However recent differences have separated the couple for sometime now and it seems Michael and Jennifer want to end it all. The two are co-stars on the Showtime series, “Dexter.”
The rep of the couple revealed that they have both filed for divorce from each other following their separation for sometime now. The rep told reporters that, “Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.”

The pair married on the last day of 2008 after they dated for more than a year and a half. Earlier this year, as Michael battled Hodgkin’s lymphoma & Jennifer stood by him publicly and gave him her maximum support. However after some months now, the reps of the two stars say the two have consensually agreed to end their relationship because they feel it is the best thing to do now. The pair will however be required to continue to play their role in “Dexter”. They recently renewed their contracts on the show. Michael received his fifth Golden Globe nomination for his role in the series this year.
