Uppukandam Brothers back to theaters

Mass Reels Banner, Mansoor produced, T.S.Suresh Babu directed malayalam movie "Uppukandam Brothers - 2", which means its second part make it to the theatres very soon and it will be distributed across the theaters by Highness Arts.

Srikanth, Babu Antony, Jagathy Sreekumar, Jagadeesh, Suraaj, Harishree Ashokan, Baiju, Rajmohan Unnithan, Honey Rose, Seema, Vani Vishwanath, Kanaklatha, Ravi Vallathol, Catherine will be seen in this malayalam movie. Story of this movie is prepared by Reji Mathew, For the lyrics of Santosh Verma and Asha Ramesh, Music Direction is performed by Alphonse Joseph. U.K.Senthil Kumar is the man behind the camera seat. Don Max performed the editing works.

Srikanth now full of confidence he signed a new project Ethiri En 3

Srikanth is full of confidence. The actor is keen to make a comeback in Kollywood, with a couple of promising projects on his hand. While one of them is an open secret (‘Nanban’), the other film is ‘Ethiri En 3’. Directed by Ramkumar, the film will be an urban entertainer which would revolve around the life of a software professional. “It will show some darker sides of city life,” reveals Srikanth.

Shedding more light, he says, “A simple man from an ordinary background becomes a techie. In the city, he has to come across certain problems. How he faces hurdles before him is the crux.” Saying that he is more careful while choosing scripts, Srikanth says, “I signed Ethiri En 3 only after I got thoroughly convinced that it will be a good follow-up to Nanban. It has all the requisite elements to become a hit.”

Srikanth and Tarun's Entertainment’s action flick titled ‘Anucharudu’

Praharsha Entertainment’s action flick titled ‘Anucharudu’ will feature Srikanth and Tarun as male leads. The pre-production works are presently going on. Producer Praveen Bala is going to introduce Ashok Alle as director and Jasmine as heroine.

According to him, the story of this film is very fresh and Srikanth and Tarun are aptly suitable actors for their respective roles. He informed that the regular shooting will begin from 2nd week of November.

Ashok Alle said, “I worked as a co-director in many films under Suresh Productions. This is an action entertainer blend with love. The story and screenplay will appear new to the audience. Chakri is composing the tunes and Bhupathi K will handle the camera. His cinematography will be the main attraction of this film.”

Gautham Menon to direct Srikanth!.

Gautham Menon is currently doing a horror thriller in Tamil titled ‘Nadunisi Naayagal’ (Ardharatri Kukkalu) with Sameera Reddy in central role. As mentioned before Gautham is directing this film in Dagme 95 style of filmmaking which is the first of its kind in Indian cinema. In this style of filmmaking, the film will be shot on natural locations with natural sound and natural light. So the film will not have any background music. The entire story is on night backdrop. Cinematography is handled by Manoj Paramahamsa.

Now the interesting point is this movie is, it’s being made in two versions, Tamil and Telugu. Srikanth, who recently hit century with ‘Mahatma’, is going to play a key role in this film. So very soon Gautham will be shooting Srikanth’s role.

Dhrogi – Srikanth's Trump Card?

Actor Srikanth film career extends back from 9 years, but his hit films were patently very few. Say for instance, it was just his debut film ‘Roja Kootam’ and ‘April Madhathil’ that won him recognitions. Later, he stepped down from his reigning stardom with some flop and mediocre shows.

Setting things right with his personal issues, the actor promised about making a great comeback with his second innings. However, scenarios were literally same and there weren’t any big results for the actor. Most of his films ‘Indiravizha’, ‘Kutrappirivu’ and ‘Rasikkum Seemane’ were box office disasters.

Well, the actor’s only hope at the moment is ‘Dhrogi’ as he must surely try to prove something on his efficacious attempts. The film is reported to be an unusual action thriller set in backdrops of Chennai slums. Of course, Srikanth looks more rejuvenated and has banked all his hopes on his film.

Having been Manirathnam’s long time associate Sudha makes her debut directorial with this film, which features Vennila Kabadi Kulu fame Vishnu, Poorna and Poonam Bajwa in lead roles…

‘Ranga The Donga’ Audio Launch on Aug 19th

‘Ranga The Donga’ almost completed its shooting except for 2 songs. With Srikanth and Vimala Raman as lead pair, Sudhakar Naidu (GV) is directing as well as producing this film along with CR Manohar under Golden Films and God Father Films banners.

The music of this film will be released on August 19th. In the remaining two songs, while one will be shot from August 4th, the second will be shot from 10th onwards. Music is scored by Chakri and cinematography by Poornakandru.

Iam Shocked? Srikanth

It’s not so easy for Srikanth to come out of the shock thanks to a freak mishap happened on the sets of ‘Dhrohi’, his forthcoming film directed by Sudha Prasad, a former associate of Mani Ratnam.

“I was supposed to jump with Poorna from the fifth floor of a building for a stunt sequence. When we were canning the scene at a flour mill in Ennore, the safety rope I was wearing worn out suddenly,” he reveals.

Srikanth continues: “I tried to manage by holding an iron chain, but couldn’t. I had no other option than falling down. Thankfully, there was some wheat baggage on the ground on which I landed. Something serious could have happened otherwise.”

Stating that cinematographer Alphonse Roy had captured the entire episode in his camera, Srikanth says it would be screened to journalists soon. Plans are also on to include the clipping at the end of the movie.

Srikanth's latest flick "Sevakudu" starts on July 16th

Srikanth’s latest flick ‘Sevakudu’ will be in Hyderabad from July 16th till the end of the month. M Sudhakar who is producing the film under Sri Maha Ganapathy Films banner says that the entireshooting would be wrapped up with the songs shoot in August and later begin the post production works. With Charmi as leading lady opposite Srikanth, ‘Sevakudu’ is being directed by V Samudra. This is a complete mass film to be released for Dusserra.

Srikanth as Police officer in Telungu Movie 'Sevakudu'

Sevakudu starring Srikanth donning the role of a police officer. He had recently completed 100 films as an actor  and his 100th film  was Krishna Vamsi’s ‘Mahatma’. Apart from ‘Sevakudu’, he’s also acting in a film titled ‘Ranga-The Donga’. Srikanth has already donned a police officer’s role in another Krishna Vamsi’s film ‘Khadgam’. Thisnew film Sevakudu is being directed by V.Samudra and M.Sudhakar is producing the film. Sudhakar had earlier produced two films starring Srikanth and they were ‘Tarakaramudu’ and ‘Manasistha Ra..’ Recently, a song and some talkie part were shot and the next schedule ofthe film will begin from May 16th onwards. The film is touted to be an action entertainer. Pradeep Rawat, Ahuti Prasad, Ali, Brahmanandam and Jay Prakash Reddy are playing other roles in this film. Srikanth Deva is composing the music for this film.
