SP Balasubramaniam sings for Harris Jayraj after 3 years

SP Balasubramaniam has sung under the music direction of Harris Jayraj after a gap of three years.

And not only that, he is singing for Harris for the first time in Tamil for the movie ’7aam Arivu’ movie. The last time he sung for Harrish was in Telugu for Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sainikudu’ movie.

The film has Suriya and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. It is being directed by AR Muragodoss of Ghajini fame.

Anu Vardhan, wife of director Vishnu Vardhan who revolutionised style with Billa has been signed up to style the actors. So for Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies, this has been a coup of sorts

Rahman’s daugther Contributed to ‘Robo’.

Oscar and Grammy award winner AR Rahman’s eldest daughter Khatija Rahman has lent her voice to the opening track ‘O Mara Manishi..’ in ‘Robo’.  While she sang this song with the legendary singer SP Balasubrahmaniam and D Srinivas in Telugu, the same was sung by her along with her dad AR Rahman and SPB in ‘Endhiran’ in Tamil. The lyrics for the Telugu song were written by Suddala Ashok Teja and for the Tamil song by Vairamuttu. This is Khatija’s first song as a play back singer and she will have a brighter future. Yes, indeed, it’s already starting.
