Versatile Malayalam actor Murali died today (6th August, 2009)
55-year-old Murali, an acute diabetic, was hospitalised in a serious condition this evening. He is survived by his wife and daughter. Murali had won the national award for best actor in 2002 for the film "Neythukaran".Murali also won the State award for his book `Abhinethavum Asan Kavithayum,' talks about the ties that bind cinema, drama and literature. Presently he was the chairman of the Kerala Sangeeth Natak Academy.
