With his recent release “Singam’ grossing at the box office as a top-drawer, Surya has now started shooting for his next film “Ezham Arivu’ (The Seventh Sense). As mentioned previously, the shooting was supposed to take off in China as Murugadoss had planned to film the first schedule over there.
Since, the actor is occupied with the dubbing of his August release “Raktha Charithram’; he planned to complete the shooting in Chennai followed by a 25-Day schedule in China. Shruthi Haasan stars opposite Surya in the female lead role and is reported to have been offered a meaty role, equivalently powerful as Surya.
Harris Jayaraj has already completed making the tunes with Na. Muthukumar penning the lyrics. Ravi K Chandran is handling the cinematography and Anthony has been signed for editing.
Surya’s previous film “Ghajini’ with A.R. Murugadoss is regarded as one of the best films of this decade and much is expected from this duo combo.
Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies, the film is expected to hit the screens by Jan-Feb 2011.
